Screw press sludge thickening machine，mainly consists of a pre concentration system, stirring blades and a concentration main body. It is mainly used to thoroughly mix sludge and chemicals in the concentration tank, causing sludge to coagulate. At the same time, a portion of the sewage is filtered by gravity from the concentration system, the sludge that forms floculation flakes then fed into the main body for concentration. Mixing tank is equipped with inlet for sludge, overflow port, dosing port and an emptying port, as well as a liquid level adjustment device to regulate the feed rate of sludge.

Structural principle

Sludge thickening machine features a multi-plate thickening machine with automatic control system, flocculation tank and thickening body. 

This equipment's filtering mechanism comprises alternating fixed rings and moving rings through which screw shaft rotates. Post-gravity thickening, sludge moves to thickening section where it is subjected to increasing pressure due to the decreasing gap between the rings and the back pressure plate. This compaction reduce sludge volume and effectively thickening.
